• Position Title: Marketing Communications Coordinator
  • Job Type: Part-Time/1-year contract (with possibility of renewal)

  • Hours: Monday to Friday; maximum 80 hours per month
  • Location: Remote work, with possibility of in-office meetings at times

Working closely with the Communication Director, we are seeking a part-time Marketing Communications Coordinator to help the organization evolve its brand and showcase vital information through the production and coordination of products and messaging for social media, website, educational and marketing collateral, etc.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to both lead and support in designing and developing meaningful communication materials.


  • Supports the development of engaging written and visual content for various channels and stakeholders.
  • Supports planning, development, posting and monitoring of content across social media channels.
  • Reviews and tracks leading social media channels for ideas and inspiration. Identifies relevant content, topical events and trends.
  • Assists with development of brand collateral and communication and marketing material.
  • Updates website to maintain current content.
  • Other duties as required.


  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years' experience in communication, public relations and/or digital and marketing communication.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an emphasis on social media and the web.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Canva, WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Highly driven and results oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively on multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service.
  • Reliability, strong work ethic and ability to work independently with a high level of accountability.
