The role provides unlimited opportunities to make a significant positive impact for Crew and the clients we serve. Areas of primary responsibility in this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Watching for account growth opportunities. When you notice a client/prospect opportunity, you unleash your creativity and pitch your Social Media ideas.
  • Supporting Crew's internal marketing, account and sales teams. You'll become our internal Social Media expert. Be ready for questions!
  • Working with the Director of Digital Marketing (Me, the guy writing this job description) to give shape and substance to our Social and PR services, pricing and process in a way that provides value to Crew, and our clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal team members to prepare and deliver Social Media Strategies.
  • Manage throughput of work for your team, personally taking on creative tasks, or delegating them to internal/external team members if your plate becomes too full.
  • Growing and mentoring your team. You'll start with two eager and talented direct reports.
  • Strategy & Content Creation! Yes, there's management and numbers stuff above, but you'll certainly get the opportunity to unleash your creativity and collaborate with internal designer(s) crafting Social Strategies, Calendars, Copy, and more!
  • Collaborating with our internal producer to orchestrate larger shoots and productions.
  • Providing oversight. Ensuring our social media services are being executed in a timely and professional manner, and that our work is driving results and delivering consistent brand experiences across platforms.
  • Overseeing the creation of a freelance/partner bench, and guiding these external vendors and agencies through projects as needed.
  • Finding, nurturing, and overseeing influencer opportunities/partnerships for the brands we work with.


  • You've got social media experience, at least 3-4 years of it.
  • You keep up with all things social media. Trends, platforms, social technology, the Kardashians, etc.
  • You're creative in some shape or form. Photography, video editing, writing, graphic design. There's a part of you that loves to express yourself.
  • You've got superior oral and written communication skills. A sharp eye for detail. There's a purposefully misspelled bullet point in this job description. Did you see it? Did it make you cringe so hard your teeth hurt?
  • You're experienced in using social media management platforms. (eg. Hootsuite, HeyOrca, SproutSocial, Something else?)
  • You're confident presenting and defending your ideas.
  • You know Facebook Business Manager inside and out. You've dabbled with paid media campaigns
  • You know how to measure and describe social media success
  • You've managed a team before, mentored others, or always really really really wanted to do these things.
  • BONUS: Agency experience. However, it's certainly not required.
  • BONUS: PR experience would be awesome.
  • BONUS: Experience working with influencers.
