Job Summary This role is a hybrid between Account Management as well as Partnerships.
Our teams of Sales Managers are responsible for targeting and acquiring corporate headquartered business within their assigned geography and securing Avis or Budget as the primary or secondary source for corporate rental car services within those companies, while maintaining and growing an existing customer base of Mid-market Corporate accounts already contracted with us. The Account & Partnerships, Manager is the face of our company to our corporate customers and needs to be able to effectively represent and promote the Avis and Budget brands, products and services to C-level contacts, Travel Managers, and Procurement departments. This is a business development role that is best suited to individuals with a "hunter/gatherer" profile; someone who gets job satisfaction from over-achieving commercial targets and excels at consultative selling.
This role will also be accountable for targeting travel suppliers in developing partnerships in order to generate incremental revenue.
They will create partnerships in exchange for offering the organization as a preferred car rental supplier through affiliated distribution channels.
They will implement new partnerships and help grow and renew existing partnerships with a continued focus on growing revenue and improving our return on investment (ROI). Qualifications Candidates must meet all minimum requirements and submit a complete on-line application to be considered a minimally qualified applicant for this position. Bachelor's Degree, plus a minimum of two 2 years successful outside sales/account management utilizing direct sales techniques required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, candidate must have a high school diploma/GED, as well as six 6 years additional sales experience to be considered minimally qualified. Willingness to travel overnight for business required. Based on geographic location the percent of overnight travel will vary. Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
