CanBiocin has an opening for a Director of Sales with proven experience in marketing and B2B sales.

What we expect from you:

In the position of Director of Sales, you will be responsible for helping drive the commercial uptake of CanBiocin products in a global marketplace. To be successful in this role you must be team oriented, embrace the culture and values of CanBiocin, be dependable and have a positive attitude. The position speaks to an individual who understands that market development precedes sales; CanBiocin has a clear definition of our ideal customers. Unique value and selling propositions are in place as is a Customer Relationship Management (?CRM?) system. Marketing and selling tools exist to maximize the opportunities for success. CanBiocin is recognized as a global leader in its space - this is a unique opportunity for a candidate to flex their skills and positively impact animal health around the globe.

Day to Day duties include:

  • This is primarily an outward facing role for a talented individual with exceptional people skills and situational awareness
  • Marketing precedes sales. An intimate understanding of CanBiocin target markets (companion animals and livestock) is required. Continuous improvement of market positioning and marketing materials
  • This is a sales position. Understanding market positioning sets the stage for the ability to close sales opportunities
  • Development and delivery of customized customer presentations using existing Company collateral and templates
  • Ability to use and keep up to date existing and new customer accounts within the Company CRM
  • Promote the company brand through social media platforms (LinkedIn and Twitter), industry events and conferences
  • Use social media platforms for content marketing and lead generation
  • This position is supported directly by CanBiocin's CEO and Director of Operation and Administrative Services

What you will bring:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or technical diploma with a strong interest in science.
