HR Coordinator Career Opportunity

The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a HR Coordinator for our HR Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg, MB.

As a HR Coordinator you will be responsible for providing Human Resources, administrative and recruitment support.

As a HR Coordinator, You Will

  • Manage job postings and weekly recruitment reports.
  • Review and manage Predictive Index scores data.
  • Research and source talent via resume databases, direct sourcing, networking sites, social media, user groups and partnerships with various organizations.
  • Review resumes for mandatory skills and experience corresponding to job requirements.
  • Monitors and maintains department email inbox
  • Promotes Health and Safety by ensuring compliance, partnering with operational management to implement a solution when a concern is brought up and administering training completion across locations. Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Drafts HR-related company announcements, change of employment, employment verification and other various letters.
  • Helps to maintain the integrity of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) by entering the required information.
  • Completes monthly follow-up regarding outstanding HR-related training courses and expired certification programs to ensure compliance and updates HRIS to ensure accurate records.
  • Assists in the administration of Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) and Short-Term Disability (STD)/ Long-Term Disability (LTD) claims.
  • Provides assistance and support to the Vice President of HR and participates in HR activities and projects as required.
  • Assist with employee events as required

As a Successful Candidate You Will Have The Following

  • Post-secondary education in human resource management or relevant education with 1+ year experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.
