The Commercial Fleet Sales Manager will identify, consult and sell vehicles to fleet and commercial account customers and is responsible for business development, operations, sales performance results, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. Representing the Automotive Group, this role will target local government agencies, municipalities and corporate companies to drive vehicle purchase programs. The goal is to create an exceptional vehicle-buying experience to build customer loyalty and referral business.


  • Responsible for the sales of Fleet and Commercial vehicles for the organization focused on corporate companies and government agencies
  • Entry into RFP and tender processes to capture business
  • Remarketing vehicles as part of the leasing cycle with anchor clients
  • Ensure that the fleet units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its objectives on a monthly & yearly basis
  • Visit prospective customers to stimulate interest in establishing or expanding vehicle fleet and commercial purchases
  • Answer and respond to sales inquiries and/or requests for proposals promptly to obtain business
  • Prepare contracts and oversee the purchase process to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage finance and delivery paperwork
  • Oversee logistics of vehicle acquisition and delivery to customers
  • Develop merchandising strategies and assists in creating an efficient, cost effective advertising program


  • 3-5 years of experience in Fleet and Commercial sales. Fleet sales finance knowledge preferred
  • Successful track record in Automotive corporate sales with understanding of government processes
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to understand profit and loss statements
  • Domestic automotive experience preferred
  • Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must be based in the lower mainland of BC
