As an important member of our in-store team, the Administrative Assistant is expected to exercise good judgment, and provide exceptional customer service in a courteous and friendly manner. Duties will include

  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Answering telephones in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Scheduling customer appointments for tire and mechanical services
  • Assisting the secretary and counter staff with duties as required
  • Maintaining general office filing system
  • Providing service quotes and receiving customer authorization for work to be performed on customer vehicles, finalizing sales, and completing customer follow up
  • Ensuring that all products are billed accurately to the customer

What does it take to get on track?

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years performing administrative support in a retail environment
  • Automotive industry experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software required
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be considered a definite asset
  • Proven organizational and time management skills in order to effectively manage independent work and customer inquiries
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
