Corporate Sales (Business Development) Manager Position Overview


  • Total compensation ranging from $65,000 -$90,000 (inclusive of bonus and gratuities)
  • Salary reviewed annually

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create a fun, comfortable environment for staff and guests to ensure an excellent experience for all
  • Create an energizing and engaging environment
  • Understand and effectively follow all of GRETA's values, policies and procedures
  • Manage all reservation & group booking inquiries (everything from 2 people to 500 people)
  • Coordinate with clients to create Event Contract, outlining setup, food and bar menu, additional requests, etc.
  • On-site contact for large group/corporate events
  • Corporate outreach within community, fostering relationships in an effort to grow the business
  • Identify partnership opportunities
  • Manage Community App (direct text line for customers)
  • Collaborate with marketing team and head office with new in-store initiatives
  • Coordinate with Chef & BOH team for seasonal menus, including special event packages
  • Coordinate with scheduling manager to ensure proper staffing for large events

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospitality management position, sales position, or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Adaptable to work effectively in a diverse and ever-changing working environment
High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Ability to cold call potential clients to generate sales
  • Proven critical thinking and strategic problem solving, and conflict resolution skills to assure project success
