Fountain Tire is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the business operations at our Winnipeg Retread Plant.

This is a Monday-Friday position with normal business hours in a manufacturing environment. The Administrative Assistant will be expected to

  • Deliver excellent customer service in person and by phone
  • Provide business support to our retreading customers and associates
  • Performing basic bookkeeping functions (Accounts Payable/Accounts receivable)
  • Ensuring that all products are billed accurately to the customer
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts
  • Receive incoming shipments, check orders for accuracy and ensure all products indicated have been received and accounted for
  • Monitoring the COR safety program and tracking as required

We are looking for a versatile candidate who has

  • 3-5 years of experience performing administrative support in a manufacturing environment
  • A college diploma in business administration or related field is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software required
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and GTRACS would be considered a definite asset
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • A can-do, team player attitude
  • A valid class 5 license and satisfactory drivers abstract
