Job Description

Wahi is looking for a graphic designer to play an integral role in the growth of Wahi brand and products. The designer will be responsible for supporting the marketing team through designing compelling marketing stories and ads for Wahi, as well as working with the product and UX design teams. They will be the main brand champion to ensure brand consistency for all brand communications, both internally and externally. The role requires superior design skills, attention to detail, familiarity with creating for both the digital and offline space, and possesses a modern aesthetic that they can replicate across channels. The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of relevant experience and strong technical skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

This role is hybrid and based out of an office at 96 Spadina Ave, Suite 301.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Follow projects from concept to final approval ensuring integrity of creative concept and brand consistency are kept in focus throughout
  • Execute top quality design work in line with Wahi brand guidelines and accessibility compliance across a variety of mediums that support Wahi's marketing efforts
  • Perform design processes that require great precision and attention to detail
  • Participate constructively in campaign brainstorming, working and planning sessions
  • Finalize the overall brand visual identity playbook for internal use
  • Develop, but not limited to, emails, social posts, blog infographics, print and ad materials to support Wahi across channels
  • Ensure proper sign-off process and proofreads and verify content & specs for all projects assigned
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams by solving creative and communicative issues based on briefs

What you bring to the job:

  • Minimum 4-5 years related experience in creative, graphic and multimedia design
  • Proven ability to produce high quality creative work and an acute understanding of design, including typography and layout
  • Excellent knowledge of both digital and print environment - including files, formats, and best practices
  • Branding experience, including brand visual identity development
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with specialized graphics software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and excellent attention to detail
  • You're highly accountable and have the ability to ?get it done' in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Possess a strong portfolio of work

Nice to have:

  • Strong working knowledge of content management systems and their application, such as Wordpress
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS
  • Motion/ animation/ video skills a plus
  • Photography/ videography skills a plus
  • Experience in the real estate industry is an asset
