The Junior HR Systems Analyst, is part of the HR Enablement team in Canada, reporting to the Senior HR Systems Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting the data management and system activities related to day-to-day HR operations, reporting and compliance. The HR Systems Specialist consults with business stakeholders at all levels of the firm, including Recruitment, Talent Consultants, Payroll, Total Rewards, and IT. As well, this role will liaise with EY's third party Talent Managed Services provider. Responsibilities vary in scope and requires an individual with HR technology knowledge, experience, and skills. This role is open to any of our office locations in Canada.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participates in the management of HR data within SuccessFactors (Onboarding and Employee Central).
  • Assists with the maintenance of SuccessFactors' interdependencies between global and local EY systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Financial System, Payroll and Benefit vendors).
  • Assists with the implementation of projects through configuration, testing and written instructional Quick Reference Guides.
  • Supports the Canada Talent Team by working on projects and assisting where necessary to deliver on key initiatives and programs throughout the year (e.g., Acquisitions, Extended Vacation Program, CFE (Common Final Exam) leave program
  • Supports enhancements of existing HR systems by participating in system testing.
  • Acts as level 2 support in ServiceNow for ongoing maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of SuccessFactors, and other global and local HR systems.
  • Supports other day-to-day Talent operations including EY Canada's vacation tool, Provisioning Notification System, and Pre-hire Compliance.
  • Assists in managing foundational data creation, new/changes to picklist values or data elements
  • Audits and analyzes data to ensure data integrity and liaises with employee or Managed Services on data resolution.
  • Supports large data change activities (e.g., mass uploads, mass salary changes and promotions, large intakes of hires).
  • Maintains content in knowledge databases that provides Talent information for local audiences (e.g., SharePoint, SAP JAM, Goldie (EY's 24/7 virtual assistant)).
  • May be called upon to produce people-related reports.

  • Solid HR knowledge base in terms of policy, practices, and operations.
  • Ability to remain efficient and extremely organized while handling a high volume of work.
  • Ability to prioritize/execute multiple tasks and work under time/deadline constraints.
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to seek our answers to questions and solve problems.
  • Ability to learn new applications and techniques quickly and effectively.
  • High level of customer service and relationship management skills (listening, responding), in dealing with stakeholders across the organization and at third party talent managed services provider
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 1-2 years experience in HR systems administration and operations
  • Knowledge of HR Systems
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Ideally you will also have:

  • Experience with SuccessFactors
