Overview

Reporting to the Director, Corporate & Trade Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator, Trade will support WildBrain's trade and content marketing programs across our distribution and licensing businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in the children's entertainment industry, and/or is looking to break into B2B marketing and sales. As part of our global Strategic Marketing Group this role will liaise with internal and external stakeholders across marketing activities. The role is best suited for an exceptionally organized individual who can keep track of multiple tasks at once. The successful candidate has some administrative, marketing and/or event related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support global trade shows and company events and campaigns under the supervision of the Director, Corporate & Trade Marketing
  • Assist Trade Marketing Managers on projects as required
  • Update and organize sales collateral such as brand decks
  • Track and upload video screeners to screening site(s)
  • Update and maintain sales app and website content
  • Track and communicate air times, series premieres and ratings across WildBrain's key content properties
  • Support in reviewing artwork approval submissions from partners ensuring brand integrity in a timely and organized fashion
  • Coordinate and process invoices for department including reconciling monthly departmental credit card expenses
  • Handle additional administrative duties as assigned, such as taking meeting notes and arranging shipments

Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience in marketing, administration, event planning or similar
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Proficient with technology (uploading content to iPads, and converting video files)
  • Desire and commitment to work in a fast-paced, client-service focused environment
  • Hardworking self-starter and team player
  • Knowledge of the children's entertainment landscape is considered an asset, although not mandatory
  • Ability to travel abroad occasionally
