triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a Recruiter to join our Team.

Primary Purpose

The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success for the Sault College Public Private Partnership (PPP). This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

The Recruiter will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular recruitment meetings with hiring managers.
  • Work with hiring managers in fulfilling hiring requirements.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Manage the internal and external job posting process.
  • Manage the recruitment workflow within the applicant tracking system.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews to identify candidates for interview by hiring managers.
  • Perform reference and criminal record checks for potential employees.
  • Assist in interviewing and selecting employees at campuses where appropriate.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Manage the employee referral program and process.
  • Research new ways of using the Internet for recruitment.
  • Build and maintain interview pre-screening questions.
  • Build and maintain hiring manager interview questions.
  • Build and maintain instructor qualifications by program.
  • Build and maintain position qualifications.
  • Provide support to other HR team members with recruitment needs when necessary.
  • Coordinate the onboarding program for new hires.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.


  • Experience with general recruiting and technical recruiting.
  • Knowledge and experience with candidate sourcing.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC Skills (specifically Word and Excel).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.
  • University or College degree or diploma.
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated office administration experience, experience working within HR is preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • The ability to work remotely and on site at our Campus Support Centre
  • Must have access to a computer, microphone, webcam and reliable phone and internet.
  • Clear ciminal record.

This position is set to start immediately


This position will be based out of our Campus Support Centre in Mississauga.
