Essential Job Functions

  • Participates in departmental projects such as development/monitoring performance evaluation program, maintaining and improving job evaluation system and compensation strategies
  • Communicates benefit information to employees as requested
  • Assists with new-employee orientations, as needed; assists with career pathing program
  • Partners with management team on employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
  • Records evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Completes required training classes
  • Adheres to quality compliance requirements
  • All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned


  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum five years of human resources experience
  • Equivalent work experience considered
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Strong decision making and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Functions well in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professionalism/Ethics (trust, respect, integrity, attitude, commitment)
  • Available to work assigned hours based on business needs
  • For internal candidates, have satisfactory job performance (not on a corrective action)
