THE ROLE

Herschel Supply Co. is looking for a International Sales Manager to drive overall sales within the market through retail, wholesale, and partnerships to ensure long-term success of the brand in the territory.

The International Sales Manager is responsible for the overall market plan and fostering key account relationships with territory distributors. Reporting to the VP, International Sales, the International Sales Manager works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization.

On a day-to-day basis, the International Sales Manager will;

  • Own the relationship with the Distributor and Sales Representative in the territory.
  • Build and execute the Go To Market plan including the wholesale and retail strategy in the territory.
  • Establish key account relationships to ensure long term stability and profitable growth.
  • Work closely with distributors, sales reps and key accounts to ensure sales targets are being achieved and hold partners accountable to maintain all aspects of the brand.
  • Build strategic sales programs that drive greater category adoption, solidify and build existing business.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and manage Sales and Marketing budget for the territory.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure that key marketing initiatives are implemented.
  • Work closely with global sales management and operations to build overall product forecast that supports the four sell-in periods per year.
  • Conduct market research to identify market and industry leaders, the competitive landscape and market share opportunity;
  • Assist in international primary market growth and export productive programs to additional regions.
  • Lead, motivate and provide best in class service to Distributors, Retailers and the HSC HQ team.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven sales management record, 5
  • years' working with International Distributors and Customers.
  • Proven sales management record with wholesale/key accounts, preferable in lifestyle fashion.
  • Proven Go-To-Market Plan building experience.
  • Degree in Business Administration, International Business or related field.
  • Minimum five years' experience planning product needs
  • Fashion, Action Sports industry knowledge and/or experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and overall pop culture influences
  • Familiar with a variety of industry retail concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Background including extensive international business travel a plus
  • International travel of approximately 2- 4 trips per year lasting one to two weeks is required.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, be proactive and meet deadlines in a fun, fast environment.
  • Fluent English is a must, additional languages is a plus.
