Avenir IT is looking for an Administrative and Marketing Assistant to join our rapidly growing team!

Reporting to the COO and the CEO, you will be part of the Marketing department while also helping out a bit at the front desk. We are BUSY and need an intelligent, creative, enthusiastic, high-spirited go getter to help us achieve our goals!

Duties Include

  • Front Desk Reception - You'll be the first and last impression to our business. Screening and directing calls, sending and receiving packages.
  • Data entry and CRM maintenance - You'll keep all records from sales leads and long term customers, detailed and filed meticulously in our online database.
  • Admin - Assist in composing sales letters and communications. Schedule meetings for executives. Ordering of office supplies.
  • Social Media - Create engaging content for social media, establishing brand as a thought leader in IT. Monitoring trends and responding to inquiries and comments.
  • Campaigns - Researching of new leads. Assisting in the design, and execution of ad campaigns within the yearly marketing plan.
  • Internal marketing - Assisting in sales process by creating marketing materials for new leads, preparing client gift bags and loyalty business gifts.
  • Creative Communications - Help create Newsletters, print ads, e-magazines, promotional flyers and postcards as well as designing promotional items, organizing and maintaining stock of promo room.
  • Monitor our sales chatbot and engage with online website visitors to create new leads. Engage first time callers and set an appointment for sales.
  • Promotional duties - Discover relevant event opportunities, plan and execute promotional events, acting as the brand ambassador to promote business.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a customer service role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, creative-communications or related fields.
  • Administration or sales and marketing assistant experience, an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills - friendly, down-to-earth and always looking to go above and beyond.
  • Professional demeanour and appearance.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, professional composition, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the language used in the workplace, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and professional formal grammar.
  • Tech Savvy - Experienced with Microsoft O365 apps, Teams, Outlook, Calendar, CRM software and VoIP systems. Knowledge of computer hardware and cybersecurity principles.
  • French language considered an asset.
