Community Trust Company (CTC) is a member of the Questrade Group of Companies, currently includes Questrade Inc., Questrade Wealth Management Inc., QuestEnterprise and CTC.
Working as a member of a small, full-service marketing team, the Marketing & Content Specialist will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Marketing & Content Specialist will assist in the development and implementation of CTC's strategic marketing initiatives across various platforms including social media, print, digital, etc. This role is also responsible for managing external marketing / branding partners and projects.
This role will be a 14-month contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and development of marketing content creation - writing, editing, and adapting content for use across multiple channels. You will design and implement content strategies, create relevant content, and maximize community engagement and growth. You will design advertisements, brochures, flyers, bulletins, signage, invitations, tradeshow booths, and website graphics. You will manage presence on social networking sites, including blogs, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other similar community sites. You will review, evaluate and report on client social media analytics and performance to continuously improve results. You will demonstrate effective knowledge of social media innovations, technology and digital trends and client's target consumer. You will monitor social networks for potential opportunities and threats. You will coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials. You will review business objectives and metrics to develop online marketing metrics to measure the impact of online marketing plans and campaigns on business unit success. You will implement and evaluate targeted online and email marketing plans which support the strategy and success of the business. And you will coordinate the production and approvals for marketing materials as requested.
? Have relevant post-secondary education.
? Have 3+ years' experience in social media, marketing and brand management.
? Have knowledge of Adobe software (especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
? Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and best practices, with a passion for staying current on communications, social and content marketing trends.
? Have excellent writing and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
? Have great organizational and time-management skills.
? Have proven ability working with clients and contractors in a professional manner.
? Have excellent project management, problem solving and decision making skills.
? Have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
? Have strong presentation skills.
? Are positive, curious and innovative, using creative solutions to solve problems.
? Are a s trong team player who motivates others to achieve group success.
? Establish and build on healthy working relationships with your team and peers.
