JOB TITLE: Marketing Coordinator - Full-Time


The Marketing Coordinator's primary responsibilities are to execute the KWS marketing and communications plan including maintaining and updating the KWS website, creating and deploying emails and implementing and monitoring KWS's social media strategy.

This position reports directly to the Director of Audience Engagement and works in collaboration with all KWS departments.


  • Create and manage email campaigns, including building lists and extractions in Tessitura, building emails while optimizing for best practices, improvements in segmentation and coordinating the approval process
  • Maintain email lists, ensuring adherence to CASL compliance, managing complaints and bounce backs
  • Create, maintain, and update the KWS website including ticketing TNEW pages, this position plays a critical role in the season set-up process
  • Execute the social media strategy, including crafting copy, coordinating approvals, and managing social listening activities on all channels.
  • Support the Director of Audience Engagement with marketing campaigns including coordinating the approval process and workbacks for marketing collateral and providing briefs to designers.
  • Execute KWS paid and organic social media campaigns and support the Director of Audience Engagement with implementation of paid and organic SEO and display ads
  • Support and champion the use of Google Data Studio throughout the organization
  • Plays a key role in ensuring professional standards of branding and copywriting are maintained through the organization, responsible for proofing and editing all materials
  • Manage all external concert listings on various websites, ensure concerts are listed using current messaging.
  • Coordinate all aspects of KWS house programs, including timelines, layout, and program notes, including overseeing the insert schedule
  • Support the Director of Audience Engagement with the coordination of all media and publicity activities, including press releases. Coordinate, film and edit special video projects as required.
  • Work concert duty for assigned KWS concerts and all other duties as assigned by the Director of Audience Engagement


  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Curious, creative with a strong interest in digital marketing
  • Experience with WordPress, or a comparable website building platform
  • Ability to work across many projects and prioritize work appropriately
  • Interest in arts and culture
  • Ability to travel to venues within the KW Region is essential


$36,250 annually
