JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Participate in identifying and setting marketing goals and strategies throughout the NMT Group of companies.
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials such as videos, photography, brochures, sell sheets, web site, banners, swag and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Supervise social media outreach.
  • Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
  • Work with management and business units to set and manage event budgets.
  • Promote products and services through public initiatives.
  • Participation in trade show events including planning and organizing and event completion.
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
  • Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends.
  • Improve communication efficiencies within company.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 3+ years' proven experience in a similar role with experience in a manufacturing or mining equipment related industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Full use of all senses including physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and function around equipment and work areas.
  • Ability to work in a productive, cooperative manner with all personnel.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and relevant software.
  • Relevant post-secondary education.
  • Experience with a mining equipment manufacturer and mining nomenclature is an asset.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to create and edit documents to make the message clear to the user without losing important information.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the company.
  • Ability to work accurately and independently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
