Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager is directly responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, training and coaching them to exceed monthly quotas, sales forecasting on a monthly/quarterly basis, tracking team performance metrics, and reporting data on a regular basis to our Sales Director. We’re looking for someone with a track record of success in driving revenue growth as well as developing and improving sales processes.
This is a full-time, permanent position in accordance with Alvéole’s current policies.
Roles and responsibilities
  •  Foster a competitive yet collaborative team culture.
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement and suggest corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a culture of achievement in the sales team by encouraging reps to hit or exceed their quotas.
  • Mentor and train sales reps to improve performance, reduce turnover, and provide on-the-job support.
  • Grow our sales team by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new salespeople.
  • Analyze previous sales periods to create accurate forecasts.
  • Track performance metrics across the team and create revenue reports for stakeholders.
  • Design and implement a scalable sales strategy that can grow with the business and result in growth.
  • Continuously iterate on and improve upon sales processes as the business evolves and expands into new markets YOY.
Required skills
  • BA/BS in business administration or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a high-performing sales team and providing mentorship and coaching to individual team members.
  • Proven track record in creating sales forecasts, identifying new areas of growth, and accurately analyzing sales performance data.
  • Experience and familiarity with using a CRM to track and report key sales metrics (Hubspot-specific experience, an asset).
  • Strong communicator with experience in giving presentations and synthesizing information for teams.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French (Canada and USA based employees).
