About the Job
The Sr. Manager of Social and Content Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the two Fulfillment teams within the Marketing Services department, Long-Form Content and Social Media Content Services. They will be responsible for the management, growth, and training of the fulfillment teams both in Canada and overseas. They will be responsible for metrics related to fulfillment services including time to deliver, utilization of the teams, quality of service provided and customer retention and expansion.
The ideal candidate will have a vested interest in establishing strong relationships with managers in all levels and departments of the organization, and will have a drive to keep up with market trends in their respective product areas. They will lead with a passion to build teams of AI-driven content developers using the latest technologies which will ensure relevancy in this industry as well as always looking for ways to expand into other AI-driven initiatives.
A successful and effective Senior Manager will have extensive experience in a leadership role and a passion for providing the highest level of customer service at all times, while also coaching their leaders to do the same. They work tirelessly to support business objectives and drive Vendasta success metrics forward.
The impact you'll have
- Lead and grow a talented team of leaders and individual contributors, providing mentorship and coaching to help them continually grow their teams and deliver better results.
- Improve customer service experience for partners and their clients
- Take ownership of our customer concerns and promptly facilitate a resolution.
- Grow and retain the number of partners and SMBs purchasing Social and Content services month over month.
- Work with business development and partner development teams to help bring deals across the line, by educating prospective customers on core product offerings, and creating custom quotes and proposals.
- Train and develop a team of leaders and individual contributors to become strong Digital Marketing Services advocates for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Measure, optimize, and adjust monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for your area of business to coincide with Vendasta and Marketing Services objectives and KPIs.
- Work with Managers on escalations, including joining calls as a senior leadership representative.
- Facilitate the ongoing development of products and services based on market trends and customer needs.
- Hold weekly 1 on 1's with team members and report team development.
- Comfortably manage a high-performing, international team in a fast-paced environment, while helping the team reach their goals such as revenue targets and retention.
The value you'll bring
- 3+ years leading a team in creative short form and long form writing.
- 4+ years of experience in short form and long form content writing and editing.
- A strong understanding of SEO best practices.
- Proven ability to develop and grow leaders through coaching and mentoring.
- Proven ability to multitask, be decisive, and remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with OpenAI, ChatGPT, and related AI software applications.
- Experience with small, medium and enterprise customer profiles.

- # of Partners per Product Suite
- Customer Retention
- Days to Delivery for All Core Services
- Overdue Tasks and Customer Wait Times
