Job Description

Your Team

As a member of the Alberta Homes Team, the Marketing Coordinator, Calgary Homes is responsible for implementing the marketing initiatives and maintaining the showhomes/presentation centres in a manner than delivers exceptional customer experience, efficiency and consistency.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager, Alberta Homes and is responsible for events, activations, signage and pageantry, point of sale material and collateral, sales centre/show home presentations, quick possession homes and the research and integration of on-line marketing tactics.

Your Key Deliverables

Plan, communicate and execute on events including grand openings, customer appreciation events and activations.

Collaborate closely with sales teams to pinpoint and enhance key moments in the homeowner journey.

Continuously elevate the presentation centre experience for guests

Along with the sales admin team, coordinate the purchase and delivery of gifts to purchasers.

Collaborate with construction and customer care teams to effectively communicate seasonal updates during spring, summer, and fall to Brookfield homeowners.

Coordinate and execute on lifestyle photography, videography and customer testimonials.

Plan and organize show home parades and grand opening events.

Work with Community Division and/or suppliers to organize parade pageantry, directional signs, and landscaping.

Coordinate show home and presentation center set-up with interior designer and Site Superintendent, in addition to other applicable teams.

Oversee and execute on the presentation centre design, including graphics, technology, selections, furniture, electrical and operational needs.

Responsible for the show home hand over from construction to the sales department. Ensure all deficiencies are rectified prior to show home opening. In conjunction with the sales team, monitor the condition of the show homes and direct the Construction Team to any touch-ups necessary.

In conjunction with the Sales team, coordinate the show home maintenance for cleaning, mats, and security.

Coordinate and supply presentation centers with point-of-purchase marketing materials, such as floor plans, specification sheets, etc.

Audit presentation centres every quarter to ensure that presentation and consistency is maintained. Provide recommendations for changes.

Set up and decommission myTime in showhomes and applicable quick possession homes.

Coordinate and execute on showhome and quick possession photography and videography.

Assist with website and landing page content; updates.

Maintain and organize the online photo library.

Support with email blasts.

Communicate events, promotions and news to the Social Media Specialist and assist on content plans

Prepare and submit BILD Award packages, as required.

Provide any general support, as required, to assist in the day-to-day operations.

Complete all vendor and partner invoicing in a prompt and timely manner

Must Haves

Post-Secondary Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations

1 to 3 years of marketing experience

Strong computer application skills with proven proficiency in MS Office with a technical aptitude to learn new and/or customized programs quickly.

Understanding of Adobe Suite is an asset

Strong verbal and written business communication skills.

Demonstratable knowledge of marketing principles, including social media, branding, graphic design production elements and digital (website and email) systems.

Nice to Haves

Residential home building experience is an asset

Understanding of Adobe Suite is an asset
