Job Title: Technical Sales Representative - Water Treatment / Chemical Industry

Location: Calgary, AB (with travel within a 300KM radius)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Representative to join our esteemed sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth by implementing strategic sales plans and fostering strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Your consultative approach will involve understanding customer needs, recommending solutions, and providing technical support to ensure optimal performance of water treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets in targeted accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant executives
• Provide technical support to customers, addressing challenges and recommending solutions
• Perform system analysis and interpret data to optimize customer operations
• Actively promote and sell new technologies to existing customers
• Travel within the assigned territory, approximately 2-4 nights per month

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or technical post-secondary diploma
• Related technical sales or field sales support experience
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to travel to the US for training/meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or life sciences
• Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
