We are looking for a Junior Key Account Manager who will directly or indirectly manage our presence at major grocery retailers, as well as various food distributors across Canada. They will be required to maintain existing accounts as well as develop new business opportunities. Responsibilities include taking orders, upselling during promotional periods, presenting new products, and customer satisfaction. As a member of our sales force, you will form the critical link between the company and the customer, dedicating your results-oriented mindset to the business-building initiatives that have been the cornerstone of our success.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with new product launches, promote and grow the company’s portfolio in assigned territories
  • Identify and develop strategy for key accounts and stakeholders in assigned territories
  • Establish superior business relationships with key clients
  • Assist customers with any support needed related to the company’s products
  • Make formal and informal presentations at customer meetings to garner support for the proposal of products
  • Influence accounts to support national sales activities
  • Achieve sales targets and improve overall account performance
  • Complete special projects and assignments, as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • 3+ years of Sales / Account Management experience in the retail food industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related fields an asset
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Self-motivated with high level of energy, persistence and initiative
  • Goal oriented and strategic mindset
  • Good time management skills and attention to detail
