JAK'S Beer Wine & Spirits is currently seeking a full or part time Service Champion for our new Dundarave location in West Vancouver to live our purpose of: Sharing our Passion for People and Spirits!

With 14 locations and more planned, JAK'S is a market leader in the BC's retail beer, wine and spirits industry focused on continued growth. The continued growth of the people within the JAK'S family will be fostered through the company's paid professional development, which includes WSET, Prud'homme and other courses and conferences.

• Is a proven leader with a passion for wine, beer and spirits and the service industry as a whole
• Possesses a positive attitude and has the ability to energize the team
• Is an effective communicator with the ability to share knowledge with our team and guests
• Is not afraid of heavy lifting. This is a busy location with lots of orders to receive and unload
• Is the ultimate team player
• Has the ability to create a ?wow' experience for our guests and is passionate about customer satisfaction

• Warehouse experience is an asset.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effectively engaging with our guests on the sales floor by establishing rapport and providing suggestions and wine pairings when appropriate
• Warehousing duties such as receiving orders and unloading pallets; stocking the sales floor; filling delivery orders and tracking inventory
• Executing all daily tasks and merchandising needs while ensuring guest experience is first priority
• Sharing concerns, observations and positive feedback with the manager on a weekly basis and communicating clearly and effectively with all guests
• Ensuring cleanliness, effective lighting and music level of the retail environment meets JAK'S standards and all orders are stocked and faced.
