Where the Chemistry Happens...

The Marketing Lead

  • Seed Treatment is a key member of the North America Seed Treatment Leadership Team. The incumbent is responsible for product marketing for Canada for the North America Seed Treatment business unit. The Marketing Lead
  • Seed Treatment will also manage a Product Marketing team who have individual responsibilities for Seed Treatment products and/ or crops.

Formula for Success: You Will...

  • Incorporate globally impactful market factors into regional and local tailored business plans
  • Collaborate closely with global team and challenge global team assumptions/ initiatives as appropriate
  • Develop and implement a regional strategy for a dynamic, complex market with disparate customer groups and routes to market
  • Drive the regional strategy with cross-functional groups in the US and Canada's matrixed organizations
  • Lead and develop a group of experienced marketing professionals
  • Work within and outside of established systems and processes to achieve business objectives
  • Delegate and prioritize to balance operational and strategic efforts for the success of the business

Qualifications

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...

Bachelor's degree in science (such as Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology), business or related field

  • Advanced degree (Master's, MBA, PhD) preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years in agri-business industry in roles of progressive responsibility (field sales, management, marketing, business development)
  • Passion for the agricultural industry
  • Experience in the Seed Treatment industry is preferred
